The booklet, which was released here on Friday, said that during the launch of the Mera Karobar Meri Amdni fundraising event in the “Ehsaas” program in Layyah. In his speech in Saraiki, the Prime Minister announced the awarding of the status of Tehsil Chowk Sarwar Shaheed in the Muzaffargarh area.
He announced the launch of the “Ehsaas“ program in Punjab with a total of Rwf12 billion, which will directly benefit 1.8 million underprivileged and 6.4 million indirectly.
He said about 375 unions (UC) councils were elected across the country from 23 districts, such as Layyah, DG Khan, and Jhang.
CM, who has donated to 260 disadvantaged people under the “Ehsas” program at 22 USC rural areas in Layyah, CM said the beneficiaries will also be provided with equipment from the grocery store, rickshaw, and wheelchairs for their livelihood.
“In this way, the rural population will receive cows and goats, and poor villagers will also be included in the program. About 60 percent of the beneficiaries will be women and 40 percent of the men will be women,” he said. The Prime Minister concluded that the provision of maintenance funds began during the period of rural development.
